this is the kind of exposure that these animals don't need from you assanine news stations you do nothing but give these dogs bad names.why don't you fucks show what good they do as well instead of always outlining the bad due to bad OWNERS!!!!!!Remember these dogs are drug dogs for the police,are used as seeing eye dogs,rescue dogs,and therapy dogs.

I have a pit. She's like the sweetest dog ever. If the dog gets loose and goes psycho, which apparently is possible, then there's not much the owner can do about it. The key to preventing just that is loving the dog and developing a close personal bond with the dog as an owner. Pit bulls aren't for everybody, but they are amazing dogs and I am proud to have one.

if u tie them up for their whole life then it will bring out aggression. Pitbulls are no different then other dogs. If people actually researched the breed you'll see they have a friendly temperment if they are raised and trained right/

According to the Merritt Clifton report as well as CDC, Pit Bulls are the cause of more fatal attacks and maimings than all other breeds (including Rottweillers) combined.
Keep writing that Pit Bulls are just another breed and it still won't be true.
Notice how calm the Pit Bulls are in the cage. That is why their uneducated owners think they are so cuddly and nice. As you can see in the video, the owner offered no appology and talked about how his dogs are nice, just like all Pit Bull owners

Look at the living condtions of this dog he lives in less than o.k conditions and is tied outside to a rusted chain its sad that this happened but if the guy took better care of his dog maybe this wouldnt happen!!

If you had listened to the interview, you would have heard that the victim went to the owners' door to alert them that their dog was running loose in the neighborhood. If dogs do not attack people like that, why is it that the CDC has recorded more than 100 deaths from Pit Bulls in the US from 1979 to 1998, a period where Pit Bulls were not nearly as popular as now?

I researched the breed and according to the CDC, Pit Bulls cause more deaths and maimings than all other breeds combined. Rottweillers are a distant second place, likely due to not being nearly as popular. Various breeds are profoundly different in strength and temperment. The AKC's website attests to that. The insurance industry is now refusing to write policies for persons who shelter Pit Bulls. This is purely an actuarially driven business decision.

Come on - the dogs are kept on a chain ffs. What more do we need to know about how well they've been cared for / trained?! Once again, this is another case of irresponsible ownership, which will lead to Pit Bulls in general being blamed. Jesus, if they put nearly as much effort into enforcing responsible ownership as they do into killing animals who haven't done anything wrong - we might actually see an improvement in attack statistics!
