Yes, it was a scam. But I don't think it can be considered a true scam... a true scam would be someone faking songs of hers and then trying to pass it off.
She recorded these songs in 2002 and 2003 and some in Sweden. Then someone got a hold of them and tried to pass it off as their own work.
Other songs on the EP include "Sex", "Lipstick Flavored Cherries", "Intro", and "Rat Room". These all have Tila's voice and style of writing. I don't see how it could not be her.

I'm not sure why Tila wants to hide this fact so badly (ashamed of her old songs?) but her album is taking forever to drop... and... uh, yeah.
