and last but not least.. Accoarding to the Pakistani Daily, it was India and the USA who were responsible for the Marriot bombing.
as you can see, the media from the country itself gives completely other information as we get here in the west. And since the average western people only get their news from television they stay oblivious about the other sides of the story.

actually russia tried to start war already in spring from abkhazia ... but fast reaction from US stopped it ... about russian military .. .there were report with a bit different numbers in it like a bit over 20000 troops, 300 tanks ... and u forgot to mention artillery units GRAD and URAGAN ... russia used lot of them .. saw it couple times in russian tv

do u know that abkhazians was minority in abkhazia??? before 1st war abkhazians were only about 30% of population or even less
south ossetia there were 2 referndums about independence at same day
1. was organized by russia result: over 90% of ppl of south ossetia voted for independence
2. was organized by sanakayev and his goverment, result: a bit over 30000 voted and like 80% voted for staing in georgia ... total population is about 70000

that was how soviet union worked ... outcome:war between armenia and aserbadzan, conlficts in georgia, conflict in moldavia, smaller problems in baltic states, ukraine
but this war had nothing to do with south ossetian ... it was war for oil and gas
