The 7:29 GTR time was recorded by track officials. This time has been recorded and also been reported by car magazines and professional reviewers.
Until you bring me proof that the GTR did not complete a 7:29 time or that the car was not stock; this time stands.
This is just more Z06 fanboy propaganda; people who can't fathom seeing a japanese car smash their 7:42 time.
The video proves the 7:29 time. You can not disprove that video.

The Z06 or ZR1 can not hit a 3.1 or 3.2 0-60 time. Even with their oversized gas guzzling engines.
I can see from your numerous one sentences posts that you are desperate enough to try to spew anything to make the GTR look bad. Sorry kid; the 7:29 time is real. Believe whatever you want to make yourself feel better at night.
There have been reports of Z06 and ZR1 transmission failures as well. Will I blame GM? No. Stupid people break trannys no matter what the car.

Even with their oversized gas guzzling engines." the gtr cant hit a 3.2 either dumbass. the fact that the vettes cant do a 3.2 is because of traction limitations-with slicks either car could easily do a 3.1 or better. also concerning those "oversized gas guzzling engines"-bothe vette engines are more compact, weigh almost 200lbs less and get better fuelo mileage than the 3.8 liter turd in the GTR.

edmunds in house gtr-one they purchased from a dealership rather than the ringer GTR nissan delivers for comparison can only muster a 12.0 quarter with a 3.9 0-60 using launch control. they have already had to replace the tranny and say in the owners manual there are six seperate slots to document six transmission repalcements-instead of beefing up the trans to thwart failures they beefed up the owners manual to cover many replacements-way to go boys!

Edmunds review did hit a 3.2 0-60 time and it is also recorded on tape.
I understand that you are a Z06 fanboy that hates to admit these facts. You don't have to because you are in the 'fanboy' category.
For the rest of the car enthusiasts we have accepted the 7:29 time and the 3.2sec 0-60 as proven by professionals.
As far as the tranny is concerned; this is just more Z06 fanboy propaganda. GTR>Z06

actually the cars dont get that bad of gas mileage, the z06 is the only 500+hp to avoid the gas guzzler tax. thats if u shift below 2k and just cruise.

u know the massive "gtr transmission problems" accusations can all be traced back to a single forum article that isnt documented at all, just a guy that said he had the vdc off a lot of nissan wuldnt replace his transmission bcuz of how much the vdc was off. once gtr haters heard this, then they all had to make sure it got all over the internet, so in reality theres only been one incident, undcoumented, of the transmission failure.

The first Edmunds Z06 engine failed the first time they were doing its review. As well as Road & Track.
If you want others to believe that the Nissan at the track was not stock you need to provide proof. Other than that; the fact is that the car was stock.

i went to a dealership and actually read the papers..
Void your warranty.
-using aftermarket rims
-going to a unapproved race track
-after going to approved race track not going to nissan to do an inspection and costing 1,000
-launch control
-going pasted a certain speed kmh mph(diff in canada and us)
-bringing the car close to redline
I dont have all day but trust me ive read it ALL and those are only a few.
