Yo... I understand that R. Kelly is a controversial figure, but this is not bad. The beginning is actually pretty good, and he gets a little indulgent in the end, but all in all, it's hip.
As to the underage girl comments, Marvin Gaye, whom I love, married a girl that he met when she was a sophomore in high school. That's 16 years-old people.
R. Kelly is just following in the oft-controversial footsteps of great soulmen.

what did they expect when they asked him to sing. Each artist brings his own talent/interpretation to the song. If you want a strict military rendition, get a military band. Kelly is a soul artist which means free, soulful. He did a great job.
