I love Hikki... I was first in line to cop this CD when it came out... And I think lyrically the song has just the least bit of relevance and redemption... What the hell was she thinking? This was the worst possible "break-out single" she could have released. This should have been one of those shit takes that gets recorded over. At least Ultra Blue more than made up for that one.

In Utada's defense.. The song would be awesome if it weren't for rhyming 'breezy" with "japanesey". It is a good song, sans that lyric. xD
Perhaps her thinking was along these lines:
"I want to see if I can make a single sell really well.. with the crappiest possible hook. JAPANESEY."

Unfortunately this isn't the kind of song that will garner respect. I do like the idea of the song, the subject, etc. But that is easily one of the most painful hooks ever.

I really hated all the make-up she had on. She looks great natural, but make-up just doesn't look right on her. The song was okay.. there were a few hooks I'd change, but yes. I still love you, Utada. :3
