- The MTV Video Music Awards saw Lil Wayne taking the Best Hip Hop Video for Lollipop, Chris Brown got Best Male Video and Kanye West bored the crowd with his spectacular closing Phil Collins wanna-be performance of new song 'Love Lock Down'.
- 50 Cent won visitation rights to see his 11year old son Marquise. His baby mother had this to say when asked if 50 is a good father.
- In 50 talking ish news, 50 said that Lil Wayne's Lollipop jacked the hook from his Candy Shop song line ' i'll let you lick the lollipop'.
- Lil Wayne missed out on performing at the prestigious Fashion Rocks event in new york after he refused to let security search his bag.
- 'Pushing Season' has returned this time starring Akon and Noel Gallagher - that bloke from Oasis. At recent concerts both found themselves in the mix with Noel being a victim and Akon getting up to his usual abusive self and punching a female fan in the face.
- UK former Dipset affiliates SAS have officially cut their ties with Juelz Santana after the recent incident in London, where Juelz was allegedly robbed by a promoter.
- In the on going debate of whether or not kim kardashians ass and breasts are real, plastic sergeant.com has published pictures proving that they most definitely are fake!
- And finally, former editor of the source Kim Osorio's new book 'Straight from the Source' is out this week. The tell all book documents her days at the source magazine, from the hostile environment to bedding both 50 and Nas in the same week.
