Clinton started this and during 8 years of Bush's Admin, he and his repub congress did nothing to prevent this and continued to give tax cuts to these companies. If you want pure evilness look at the Democratic socialist who may be president. Don't believe everything you read. As for Bush, basic economics says the more money in play the better. Obama taxes the rich, they quit investing. The economy stagnates. Obama taxes industry, they lay off and/or raise prices which negates any tax break we might get. The Wall Street Journal stated that Obama's plan is BAD for America good for the lazy, but BAD for America.

The market was fine, gas prices were reasonable until 2 years ago when the Dems took control of Congress and after being warned of the impending financial crisis did nothing.
