I genuinely hope this film turns out to be good, but I have a feeling that all the weird styles will give it a disjointed feel that will detract from the story.
I wish they would just make another Batman Animated Series movie like Mask of the Phantasm or Subzero. That style was perfect for Batman - they should resume it immediately.

Boycott this shit. Don't buy the DVDs. I sure as Hell ain't. The last thing I need is to see something purely American turn into fucking Naruto or Death Note. We might as well make a family-friendly, Pixar CGI film of the Battle of Sekigahara.

with Bruce Timm and Kevin Conroy in there, this is basically the same as the early 90s cartoon except they gave each episode to a seperate director. hell even the music is like the old 90s cartoon and Tim Burton films.

Don't get me wrong, Batman is my absolute most favorite hero of both DC and Marvel, but come'on DC... focus a little less on Bats and Supes. Its annoying.

Well atleast the Japanese know how to animate. Their animation is far superior, and thanks to their talents, these short films came out alot better than they would have if they were done by americans, who need to use computers to create good animation.

i just seen this movie and well...i unno what to say...its not the typical batman movie u expect..batman is very dark...pessimistic and dangerous. to be honest after watching this...i dont know what batman is anymore, this movie makes him seem truely a vigilante..which in my opinion defeats the purpose of batman the begining...any other opinions please comment.

Well, I like the idea. But...I kinda wish they made the characters look a lot more like they did in the movies. At least then the "movie sequel-prequel" aspect would be believable.

This was very good. Not as interesting as the Animatrix since you pretty much knew the outcome of each segment in regards to Batman's chances of survival. But it was a continuing storyline with each animator putting his own spin on Batman and new villains in each segment. Excellent.
