I remember how songs like these got me through alot of stuff and inspired me to keep playing guitar. Awesome song and underrated musicians. They're still around and I think they aren't gonna quit because they have too many fans counting on them to keep writing. They deserve a place in the Rock Hall of Fame for their contribution to melodic metal.

ahh Testament at its purest! u dont see bands like Testament,Megadeth,and slayer anymore metal is nothin but pure death metal and on band tryin to be heavier than the other Screw NU METAL! im stickin to the oldies coz its the only thing worth lisetning too anymore metal is on the verge of dyin if bands like slayer and testament and megadeth and anthrax dont continue to make new albums :) my opnion

There are some new trash metal bands coming and they make real thrash. Search for Evile. It is a new metal band first album came out in 2007 and they are pretty awesome.

Evile sounds exactly like Slayer. Their singer sounds eerily similar and that fact makes me like them a little less sadly.

i agree with u panterahead, but to a certain degree. theres a lot of new bands that are good, but its mostly those who choose their own way and play different kind of metall. for example i like those bands that combines styles like metal and jazz, sounds crazy but the result is just amazing...

hey man, that's what megadeth did, especially on their first two albums 'Killing Is My Business...' and 'Peace Sells...' with Chris and Gar. That's my favorite lineup and my favorite albums by megadeth! I've always loved jazz and blues, and when I heard these two albums I thought it was some of the coolest music I've ever heard - So much attitude! That's what made metal so much better back then!
