british cable TV and Sky is just as bad as american TV. The difference is that the BBC is excellent, channel4 used to be really good (before big brother), and we get far fewer commercials. Americans don't get many shows from other countries except some successful british ones (which are remade badly for the states). We get only the few good american shows. Really british TV is much much better overall.
