Ron Paul dropped out soon after them, and would not run as an independent or third party candidate (because lets be honest, they have no chance of winning anyway). And the signs didn't look any cheaper or crappier than McCain or Obama advertising. The McCain and Obama commercials were shit, anyway. All they did was bash their opponent's policies.
