Thanks for the update.
If there was any ill feelings generated from this infamous declaration and rejection, it seems all have been forgotten in both sides of the causway (meaning in Malysia and Singapore ) His musical talents, both creative as a song writer and performance as a singer, are undeniable. I don't think he has forgotten where he got started. His hosting this S-Pop award show says it all.

As mentioned by someone below, that song is 情话. It is actually the ending theme song of drama "最后的大侠" which is a 90s Singaporean drama.
The original singer was BEYOND. I don't think you can find the song so easily especially when BEYOND did not record the song in their albums neither did wei song and si song. You may be able to find the song in tv theme albums released by Mediacorp though.
