This is true however the song itself was written about the Queen. Roland said it was his thoughts to the way she was nothing more than a figure that must live up to everyone else. Her life set in stone and bonded to it.

These boys ruled the 80s. I always remember just how great their music is but had forgotten a couple of their lesser hits. I heard this in a Big Lots store and was like "Thats roland". Looked it up and here it was. Haunting and beutiful.
