This is the argument i make to all my friends that said the basis of americas invasion of Iraq was we are bad people. After 9/11, it was likely saddam hussein had weapons. but we should have just continued on like he didnt. actually most the the terrorists from 9/11 were Saudi Arabian's not Iraqies, as far as we can tell Iraq might have has WMD's but that really didnt justify invading the country. My personal belief George Bush was looking for a scape-goat after 9-11 and daddy's old enemy was convenient.

You also have to look at how Bush was slammed with that in office. How many people really could have expected all that destuction to happen? It's just not fathomable and hard to believe that it would happen. So I don't blame bush and he was looking for a way to stop this. I don't think he's a genius but the people that make the decisions for him aren't dumb by any means and we went into Iraq and I stand by it.

I'm an Aussie living in the U.S and I have to agree with you here. There are millions of amazing people in this country and it's impossible and unfair to judge them all by the acts or sentiments of some; especially of their "elected" leaders. My mates back home like to take the piss out of Americans but there's only 20 or so million of us Aussies to take into consideration, there's over 300 million Americans, and with a population that high your sure to produce a few arseholes.
