As i said before,Jimi Hendrix was just as racially blended as any other black man.I'm sure Jimi was proud of his Native blood(so am i)but his dominate blood was African. Don't know

It was the comment that Jimi was MOST proud of his Indian heritage & that no one race could claim him.Now first that is making an assumption you have know way of knowing since Jimi never stated that(Give me a quote).& yes African Americans can claim Hendrix as part of there major musical contribution to American Music.Just because Hendrix had Indian blood & maybe some Dutch means nothing. Like i said most African Americans have some Indian & european
ancestory.& 30% of Whites have African.

and Jimi's statement was on pg 144 of "the man, the magic, the truth" book, which is on google e books. "I don't feel black. it's the Indian part that I mostly pay attention to."

srv seems to have had the feel for the guitar more than hendrix. srv sound is alot clearer crisper sounding when he plays. I guess everyone got their own opinion though. either way , both of them fking guitar gods, definitely top two guitarists of all time.
