What a combo the Wiburys were. And how central and crucial to that sound Roy Orbison was. In every clip I've seen where Roy is with the Wilburys, it's patently clear that's having an absolute ball with his fellow comrades & musical legends. What a great interview with Geoff.

Monkmaster-- 57 y/o here. No matter what the young people say today------ the real music came from the 50's,60's,70's.
I have seen many many concerts back in the 60's and 70's--- lot of top bands. That's not to say I haven't seen them up through this year. Seen Bob Seger in 07 in Omaha Ne.---- for a rocker in his 60's --- he still has it------ sold out.

I sure miss Roy... He had so much more to give.. I may be 37 but his voice touched and Chills me at the same time.. I wonder why he had to die? I can only hope he is back with the wife and sons that died in a house fire.. I just miss him.....

Roy had the voice of an angel, just other-wordly. Seemed such a sweet man too. You can tell just by listening to Jeff that they all revered him and loved him. A true one-off.

Now it makes sense as to why I keep playing this one on my guitar , it's an excellent lesson in Emajor to E second position bar chord and the jolly romp on F#minor
Guitarists will understand what I mean, Roy orbison is unescapable for a serious guitarist
and yes roy your musical offerings do give me a special lift of the heart.

If you are a guitarist you MUST learn the chords of it.
A G D A and an Emajor natural position don't forget the G before you go to A F#minor C#minor to E second position bar chord.
bridge = A E F#minor D
don't forget that on the special bridge part there is a C#Maj7 with the second finger removed.
and don't act like you don't know what I'm talkin about.
