Maybe you shouldn't try and speak badly of the land you have never seen, as for those who
live there will know its true beauty and will point to your errors. Go and check out 'Lupe Fiasco - streets are on fire' here on youtube. There are many other artists who are also true in Hip-Hop. Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Nas, Common, The Roots, The fugees, Lupe Fiasco of course. You can't just listen to one of their songs and say, "No, I don't like them", as their styles vary, and their messages are good!

Oh yeah, for sure KRS-1 and Wu-tang! Beastie Boys are good to listen to but their more for fun (from what I've seen of them).
They are 'kind of' pioneers for Hip-hop in some ways, but their not real deep and poetic if you know what I mean, but im glad they exist cos we need variation! It would definitely be less exciting if people were all too similar.
