I'm sure you do a lot to encourage your daughter, and you probably already do this, but just wanted to offer a suggestion. Let her know that you're greatful she's your daughter and you're thankful to be her mother. Telling her that at least once a day will be such a huge boost in confidence for her that over a period of time that no matter what any one says will be upsetting to her.

The weird thing about this video is that all those girls were really pretty, not just personality wise or they had thoughtful opinions but even physically, they were all pretty...and I seriously mean that.

I agree...The Unilever corporation (Parent company of these brands) is very hypocritical. They make these ads showing you that everyone is beautiful in there own special ways, but in turn they make ads (i.e. AXE and Degree) that are very shallow.

Dove is not making their ads out of any true sense of social consciousness or moral responsibility, they are doing it because it's a trendy way to earn money and get a new base for their product, just like all the companies 'going green' to increase their customer base. Profit, profit, all words and hype, no substance. But I still admire some of the ads and hope they have a positive impact.
