Yep, just Bd3. I forgot to mention that important point - thanks for raising it. The folk between rook on f1 and queen on a6 would be decisive because there would be no Rd1 resource, because Rd8 wouldn't be mate - as it would if the knight was on g5, covering the h7 escape square.

on the last move where white resigned, he could have taken the foreign pawn on h3... why didn't he do that???

why not flip the board since you're demonstrating a victory for black?
weaker players like myself would get a better feel for the flow of black's play.

At 5:45, why did black reply to Re1 with Re8? What was wrong with Bxd4? If White recaptured with the rook (recapturing with the Queen loses to Bxf2+ winning the rook), then Bxf2 or Qxf2 anyway wins a pawn. Or have I missed something?

Rybka reckons White has an advantage after Bxe4 with the intermediate move Bg3 attacking the black queen , and then after that recapturing on e4. The Fen position in question is:

Yeah, I meant Rxe4, sorry about that. But the CPU reckons white is still up even though he loses the pawn on f2?
