A ZR-1 is stock. and at the moment is nothing but a cool looking race car. You POS GT-R is nothing special. Doesn't even look good except on the back. I meant the ones you can get from Chevy dealers. Why don't you read my comment again. And the GT-R is not meant to look good. Every crease and line is made to channel air to the spoiler for aerodynamics. Oh,and the V-Spec beaten your ZR-1. It is heavier,has a smaller and more economical engine and is much more practical than the ZR-1. 2 seconds may be a small number,but still won't change the fact that the Nissan beaten a track-ready Chevy.

there isnt a car thats been manufactured on a large scale that duznt have the looks taken into account while designing it. the gtr designers wanted something original that wont b mistaken for something else. gtr is a great car and an extremely fast one, but it really pisses me off that the only way u can do it is by voiding your warranty which shows nissan wont stand behind their product.

ZR1 is at 7:22.4. The original GT-R was at 7:29. The V-Spec is supposed to run the 'ring in 7:25. So that means the ZR1 is 2.6 seconds faster than the GT-R VSpec, not the other way around. And the Viper ACR is still at 7:22.1. So two American production cars are currently at the top of the 'ring list. Look for the ZR1 video and the Viper ACR video, and sit and watch them, and THEN see if you can say American cars can't corner. Those two CAN take corners very well.

I respect anything that's fast, and give credit where credit is due. The GT-R is very fast, and has my utmost respect, so don't think I'm bashing. It's the fastest thing with four seats, and I love it. But honestly, it's not the fastest thing on four wheels as of yet. Whether we like it or not, it has a long way to go before it can get back on the top. I'm not a fanboy of anything. Again, I respect anything that's fast, regardless of origin.
