I saw this movie twice. Yes, it's THAT good. Well, at least to me it is. I think Michael Angarano (the white kid) did a good job as the main character, but I didn't pay much attention to him but more to Jackie and Jet. To me, those two were the main characters.

How come the Ancient Chinese hero from the Forbidden Kingdom can speak english while the other characters can't speak in english but the movie is good.

It really doesn't matter what race he could be. He could have been asian, mexican, thai, african, spanish, he played he part well and that's coming from an asian perspective.
I just watched the movie online line and I thought it was SICK!!!! totally AWESOME!!! it really had a good plot, very interesting, I kind of felt sad when the guy who owned the shop, I literally broke out in tears.
